President (2008-2009)
Abayomi Olorunsola
NSBE@USU was founded in the fall of 2008 by Abayomi Olorunsola while he was a Mechanical Engineering student at Utah State University. He served as the president of NSBE@USU from fall 2008 to spring 2009. Abayomi is now a sucessful Mechanical and Aerospace Engineer at Nalco Company, the world's leading water treatment and process improvement company, in Vernal Utah.
President (2009-2010)
Pedro Abdiel Mateo Villanueva
Pedro Abdiel Mateo Villanueva served as the president of NSBE@USU from fall 2009 to spring 2010 while he was doing his masters degree in Mechanical Engineering. Pedro is now a PhD student at the University of Alberta in Canada working on Numerical Modeling for Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells at the Energy Systems Design Laboratory as a Graduate Research Assistant.
President (Fall 2010)
Olalekan Olorunsola
Olalekan Olorunsola served as the president of NSBE@USU fall 2010 while he was doing his masters degree in Geotechnical Engineering. Lekan is curently in Houston, Texas, in search of greener pastures.
We got a hold of Lekan and this is what he had to say about his term in office.
"As president of NSBE, my main goal was to continue to advance the local goals of the organization, which were:
-To attend the Regional and National Conventions and maintain exposure of the members,
-Increase membership by aggressive recruitment,
-Maintain continuity in passing the importance of NSBE to incoming engineering generations. "
Lekan managed to accomplish these goals and the organization has grown in number and the students are dedicated to attending and taking advantage of the opportunites they have been provided.
We got a hold of Lekan and this is what he had to say about his term in office.

Coofi M. Dovi
Coofi M. Dovi served as the president of NSBE@USU spring 2011. Coofi is doing his second bachelors degree in Aviation Engineering at Utah State University.
Faculty Advisor (2008-2011)
Michael McFarland
Dr. Michael McFarland is an Associate Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Utah State University. Dr. McFarland has served NSBE@USU as the faculty advisor from fall 2008 to spring 2011. He has mentored the students and has helped them realize their full potential in pursuing their goals. Dr. McFarland always encourages the students to focus on their education and also take advantage of any opportunites presented to them, such as the opportunities avaliable at the NSBE conferences. He ensured that the students attended every regional and national conference since 2008. He also encouraged the students to get involved in school activites such as Engineering week and mentoring students in high schools who want to become engineers. Dr. McFarland has been dedicated to fulfilling the organization's vision and goals, and much of the success of NSBE@USU to date is owed to him.
